I am new to Linux and open office and planning to swich to Ubuntu. One of the feature in Word XP is Asian Phonic Guide. It marks the Chinese pin yin on top of the word. I also saw this on the menu. However, it doesn't show anything. Did I miss anyting? I do installed Chinese languate pack as well as the scim.

Re: Asian Phonic Guide question
You need to go to: Format>Asian Phonetic Guide when you should get a Dialogue box where you can enter "Base text" and "Ruby text" with a variety of options (alignment, position, style).
LibreOffice 7.x.x on Arch and Fedora.
Re: Asian Phonic Guide question
I did highlight the Chinese sentence and go to Format>Asian Phonetic Guide. The word correct splited however, there is no Ruby text displayed on top of the Chinese character.
