Post by amex »

I am new to Linux and open office and planning to swich to Ubuntu. One of the feature in Word XP is Asian Phonic Guide. It marks the Chinese pin yin on top of the word. I also saw this on the menu. However, it doesn't show anything. Did I miss anyting? I do installed Chinese languate pack as well as the scim.

You need to go to: Format>Asian Phonetic Guide when you should get a Dialogue box where you can enter "Base text" and "Ruby text" with a variety of options (alignment, position, style).
LibreOffice 7.x.x on Arch and Fedora.
