図形描画の中にテキストを埋め込む方法

図形描画の中にテキストを埋め込みたいのですが、以下の状態になります。
どのようにすれば、テキストを埋め込むことができますか？。よろしくご教授をお願い申し上げます。

なお、図形描画の中にテキストを埋め込むには、図形描画の「図形の結合」機能を使用することもできます。図形の結合機能を使用すると、図形とテキストを1つの図形として結合することができます。

Select a shape and use the Text tool to add text on top of the shape mapquest directions. Position the text to fit the shape and adjust the font and size as needed.
