Pretty basic, I'm drawing a plot of survey & landscape plan at 1" = 8 feet or 1/8" = 1 foot.
This is what I've setup:
- Page to 36" x 24"
- Unit of Measure equal to Foot
- Drawing scale 1:8.
When I draw a line, I set the width to 70.31' and the line extends well off the page (it should be about 8.8" or 70.3'/8).
I'm missing something - any ideas?
Thanks
Doug

Re: Beginner's scaled drawing question
Welcome to the Forums.
Your scale is wrong. At 1:8 1" = 8", not 8' (feet)
For 1" = 8', your scale is 1:96 (1:8x12)
