Trouble changing my email address here

I am not able to change my email address.
So I tried to delete my account, but can't do that either.
I've tried the "account>profile>Edit account settings", it doesn't allow changes in the email field.

Any ideas?

Give the change of email a try again now that you have a post accepted; let us know if it still doesn't work.
