For quite a while now I had the problem that OpenOffice was always crashing after a while and restarted with the document recovery. Resetting the user profile and reinstall didn't help. In safemode the crash didn't happen. I found other threads with similar problems but no solution.

Today I finally found the problem. It was my Wacom Tablet. Disconnecting my Wacom Tablet solved the problem with the constant crashing. So it's either the device or a range of devices or the Windows process TapTip.exe wich is automatically started when connecting the tablet.

Sounds like a driver conflict to me. What driver did Wacom remove. What register was affected. I don't have Wacom on my laptop (win7), so it must be a common one. ? Anybody working on this? The time it takes to go through the procedure every time on every file is killing my work production.
