Default Microsoft Office Format Save for Domain Users

Post by bilalg »

Hi, I am in the process of imaging 500 laptops. I am creating a master laptop to distribute the image files, I would like domain users to automatically save to Microsoft Office Document formats when saving documents. Please note students will use different laptops on a daily basis. Please share your thoughts and ideas.

You can set default format in Tools>Options>Load/Save>General Document Type, Always save as. You must change all types separately, where you want to use MS format, text document, spreadsheet, presentation.
