Yup Writer adopts the UTF standard for RTL languages so have a go at just typing a mix of latn and Arabic or Hebrew and see what happens. Even if you haven't configured your keyboard, you and still use Insert->Symbol. Whether you have your text justified left or right is down to your styles and template.

thank's for your replies' i looked in help under right-to-left text & found that it says there "You can change the text writing direction directly be pressing one of the following keys:
Ctrl+Shift+D or Ctrl+Right Shift Key - switch to right-to-left text entry
Ctrl+Shift+A or Ctrl+Left Shift Key - switch to left-to-right text entry"
i tried these things & it just didn't work.
after that i noteced that it says "The modifier-only key combinations only work when CTL support is enabled."
i don't understand what that means & if by me CTL isn't enabled, how do i enable it?

If you type RTL fonts then the direction automatically reverses.
