I am trying to open a docx file in my MS Windows 10 system. However, I am getting an error of "File format error found at
SAXParseException: '[word/document.xml line 2]: Attribute w:themeColor redefined
', Stream 'word/document.xml', Line 2, Column 105314(row,column)."

I was working on .odt and saved on .docx format. After that, it is showing this error message and doesn't open anymore.

Can anyone save me, please? It was one day long of a lot of work!!

I was able to recover the attached document with OpenOffice. That seems to be everything in the document.xml file embedded in the docx file. See also this post for methods for handling this problem.

Edit: I did something wrong with the XML editor. Use Rory's version.
