Calc will not print

Title says it all. What can I do to get calc to print spreadsheet?

The title does not say it all. What steps did you go through? Did you receive any error messages? What OS and what version of OOo are you using? If you want help you have to supply more details.

Thank you for responding and sorry about that. I am on Kubuntu 8.04 using OO 2.4. In Calc when I click on print in the print dialog, nothing happens. I usually get a popup showing progress as file is sent to printer, but this time nothing and printer doesn't print. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your printer's driver correctly installed? Is your printer plugged in? Does OOo know you printer exists? If you still have problems after answering these questions, or have problems with the questions themselves, don't hesitate to ask.

To automatically tell us your OS and version of OOo in the future, click on User Control Panel, near the top of the page. Click on the Profile tab, and then make sure you're in the edit profile part. The last three fields (you need to scroll down) want you to set your main OS for OOo, the version of OOo you use, and finally, what other OS(s) you use OOo one, if applicable. There you go!

My printer works perfectly fine from Firefox so I think answers to first two questions are yes and yes. How do I check whether OO knows my printer exists (and why wouldn't it)?

Found problem. In printer settings, printer was set to HP_Lazerjet_3050_fax instead of HP_Lazerjet_3050. Changing that allowed printing. However, closing and opening OO again showed printer reset to HP_Lazerjet_3050_fax. How do I set printer to HP_Lazerjet_3050 as default?
