I can't seem to rotate a chart that I moved from calc into writer.
If I try
Format >> Object >> Position and Size
"Position and Size" is grayed out.
I've settled on selecting the chart, copying it [ctrl+c], pasting it into mspaint, and rotating and resizing it in there, pasting it onto my document, and readjust it in mspaint, and repeating it until it fits. But, this is a big hassle, and is often time consuming because I would have to adjust the image several times to make it fit the way I want it to fit.
Any suggestions?
Why can't I rotate charts?
Re: Why can't I rotate charts?
Try this: In Draw, copy the chart object to the clipboard. then do Edit > Paste Special and choose "GDI Metafile", then OK.
The metafile is a simple graphic (not a chart) and it can be rotated in Draw, then copied to Writer.
Just watch out: I had a problem with the rotated metafile, where one side of the chart was missing. I found I could get it back by adjusting the size of the metafile, but I'm not entirely sure what's going on there.
