Dictionary Syntax

I use Windows Vista as my programming environment. My question deals with OpenOffice dictionary format. Recently I downloaded the es_Mex.txt file that contains a large word list of Spanish vocabulary. However, most of these entries are followed by a unexplicable '/ERD' or '/G' ... etc. I know that these chars have something to do with the spell checker and word type, but i need to know what each o these char mean. I want to use this word list to write my own spell cheker. Any comment is highly appreciated beforehand.
