Post by Obamjur »

Hi, how to insert a transparent circle in an octagon in a way to reveal a background object (a picture for instance)? Thanks!

You can set the area-filling property of the object to 'none' indtead of 'Color'.
Or you can adjust the transparency ratio.

You can also use the Combine command.
Draw the octagon.
Draw the circle.
Position the circle over the octagon.
Select both objects using Shift + Click
Select the menu Modify -> Combine.
OpenOffice 4.1 on Windows 10 and Linux Mint
If your question is answered, please go to your first post, select the Edit button, and add [Solved] to the beginning of the title.
