I created a document in beta 3. Modified it in 2.4 and saved it. Then opened it in beta 3 again. I can change the document, but when I try to save it I get the following error msg:

Error saving the document TTH Instructions.
Error in writing sub-document styles.xml.

I'm using Windows Vista SP1 with beta 3 and Windows XP SP3 with OO 2.4.

Have you tried to change the version of ODF to be used to save the file? Tools>Options>Load/Save>General tab? OOo 3.0 default is ODF 1.2 whereas 2.# supports 1.1.

Beware that a beta is not for production, you may lose data.
