Just upgraded to OO 4.1.2 from OO 4.1.0. Writer and Calc work fine, but can't open database tables, queries or forms. OO shows me that the tables/queries are there, but can't open any of them. No errors reported by OO. Thinking that Java might be the issue I upgraded to latest release (8 Update 65 Build 17).

There has bee a report of a problem with Base on Macs with 4.1.2. You should probably download 4.1.1 and use that until the situation on 4.1.2 is clearer.

Will try going back to 4.1.1. However, I upgraded to 4.1.2 because I had issues with the 4.1.1 database. Found that exiting OO database would cause OO to hang. Not always, but most of the time.

Took your advice and downgraded to 4.1.1. Noticed something a bit strange while doing this. Not sure if it impacts on issues with 4.1.2. When I upgraded to 4.1.2 the Mac OS security barked that I was not allowing unauthorized apps to run. My security settings allowed apps from App Store and identified developers to run. This had not been an issue with 4.1.1 as far as I was aware. I changed security to "Anywhere" and then 4.1.2 launched OK. When I downgraded to 4.1.1 I experimented with the OS security settings and set allowed apps to apps from the Mac App Store and certified developers and 4.1.1 launched without any warnings. Hmmmmm......

Base on 4.1.2 is broken. Just rolled back to 4.1.1. It works.

I had to go back to 4.1.0 to fix all my problems. (OS X 10.11.6)
