when i click on recentfiles, neooffice top gray bar appears. nothing else. no file.

i have yosemite 10.10.5 on my os x mac. and have for a long time. near two years.

no settings changed. no other disruption. patch 17 successfully installed.

help please.

He, you can try to reset user profile, it might work.

that has been done. (reset user profile). i am really stuck without any access to my WP neo office documents.

which is distressing to say the least.

thanks for suggestion but i need a way to reboot my neo office and am surprised no moderator has done anything to assist me. i restate my strong desire to resolve this problem. please.

Have you tried NeoOffice support?

Larry I. Gusaas: NeoOffice support (and I use the term loosely), just refers the user to Open Office support (aka: here)
I checked this when I first saw the post, but decided not to post the suggestion when I realized that it would end up here anyways.

Since the NeoOffice support refers to Open Office support, my next suggestion is to repeat the profile reset suggestion.
You may need to do a bit more searching for the correct folder, but the basic idea should be close.

It is not the role of moderators to necessarily answer any query; their role is to see to the smooth running of the Forum such as approval of initial posts, removal of spam - you don't see much of that because we work away in the background. Volunteers usually answer only from their own experience; very few (if any) use NeoOffice and may not have had a problem similar to yours.

Have you tried reinstalling NeoOffice?

What updates have you installed in your computer since NeoOffice stopped working? You should try backing these out, one at a time.

i deleted neo office and reinstalled the free version. it appears to not do wha the prior version did. so i am going to use X word free and TEXT EDIT in place of neo office which has become the lesser choice. thanks rory OF. if you have any other suggestions i will be glad to listen and follow them to a better result. thanks again.

Use Apache OpenOffice. (or LibreOffice)

gusaas of moosejaw. apache 4.1.1?? are you suggesting i install neo office using apache or are you suggesting i install open office using apache?? worry to be a bit dense about all this. thanks.

Apache OpenOffice. There is only one OpenOffice.
