[Solved] How to mark thread solved

Post by johlson »

All my attempts to mark a thread I started as {SOLVED] have been thwarted. Likewise, I was unable to mark my thread with the checkmark icon. What are the exact steps required to get [SOLVED] into the subject of the first post in my thread and to use the icon?

Go to the first entry on your thread, press the Edit button (top right of your entry). Check the box for the green tick and add [Solved] to the Subject line.

Click on the beginning of the subject line and your text should enter there, provided your subject line is not to long.

Thanks for the help. The length of the subject line was the problem.

Often one has to edit a Subject line to get [Solved] onto it. It can call for ingenuity to edit that and yet retain the sense!
