[Solved] How do I access template extension?

Post by ippyman »

Hello.
I installed the Sun ODF template Pack en-US.oxt into OO 2.4.1. When I go to Tools>extension Manager> My Extensions the extension shows as being enabled. My problem is that I can't find the templates anywhere.

I tried: File>templates>organize, but the only ones there are the default templates and a couple I created myself.
They are not in File>new>Templates and Documents, either.

Can somebody tell me how to access these templates please?

I'm using Windows XP.

Thank you.

In that case something went wrong with your installation because that is where they should show up. Did you install them for all users or just yourself?

Hi Caracalla. I am the only one who uses my computer. I will try reinstalling. Maybe I didn't install them for my user profile.

Thanks

Thanks Caracalla.
I reinstalled the extension and it is working fine now. The problem was that I tried the first installation by clicking on the Sun ODF template Pack en-US.oxt file in the downloaded folder instead of using the Extension manager. This is the first time I installed an extension, and I didn't know about the extension manager, thought the template pack was bundled with an installer.

Problem solved.
