How to change background color for BASIC IDE?

Post by rdwray »

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4.1
What Operating System (version) are you using? XP PRO
What is your question or comment? The background color of the BASIC IDE is hard on the eyes, how can it be changed? I have tried Tools>Options>OpenOffice.org>Appearance>Document Background. If there is not a way, it would be nice if this was implemented in the next update. This is extremely hard on the eyes.

This is a user-to-user forum. No developers hang out here.

To request something like that you'd need to go to the Ooo site: OOo Site.
Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, LibreOffice Version: 4.3.3.2

That was not a developers question, that was a users question. I don't know who you are, but you need to get some manners.

WRONG. You need to take the sound advice as offered by Gurkha in good spirit. And if you visit the site he suggested, you will be asking of those who in fact can make a difference ...if they so see fit.

That is indeed a request for development change, and this is indeed just a user forum. We are all plain folk, just like you, except that we try to aid and assist where possible. So, don't be offended by the advice given, but consider taking it in the spirit it was intended. Also, before you are too quick to slander, you might check the person's profile and see that Gurkha has helped a lot of others in the past.

David.

You people seem to think that I am at your mercy and should kiss your rear, but that isn't going to happen. Take your site and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.
