[Solved] Worldwide use restricted?

Solved. Thanks to the two quick helpers, especially Hagar who was right on. I installed OpenOfice on my friends laptop here in California and when she travelled to New Zealand and tried to open a document the screen instead displayed the requirement for accepting the terms of use which I had previously completed. But the 'accept' box would not accept clicks. ?
Thanks.

OOo has no restrictions whatsoever on its use--it sounds like you just have a slightly dodgy install.
Try a search here for "accept license" for some suggestions on fixing the problem.

You've to scroll down to see the whole license terms before the Accept button is activated.
Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your
first post title (
edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Oooh, good point, Hagar. Yes, I forgot about that.
Also, OOo will ask each separate user who runs OOo to accept the license. So, if you installed OOo while logged in as "administrator" and then the regular user logged in as a different account and started OOo, there will be another license prompt for that user. All that's required is to scroll to the end and accept.
