Hi Acknak,

I am new to Open Office. I am trying to find information on how to create a fill in-date field and then I want to use the bookmark to name it and be able to use the same date info on other parts of my document using the crossreference function.
I really read many posts but I can not find something like this

There's no need to use bookmarks or cross references: you can just insert the same field as many times as you like.

Use a "User Field"--they will all show the same date. You can double-click on any one of them to change the value.
