Import XML data to a template

I wonder if it's possible to insert data from xml into a template made in OpenOffice?

Can you give more details? What kind of template? for Writer? Calc? Impress? What kind of data exactly?

Sorry for that. XML data from server (name,phone numbers...) into a Writer/Calc template
