update download

Every time I use open office,I get an update download,but when I try to install it,my computer with vista os gives me an error that "the installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete"could this have anything to do with my antivirus program or adware program not letting the file completely load?Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the md5sum of the installer downloaded, it may be corrupted. See here :
http://download.openoffice.org/2.4.1/md5sums.html, there is a link to the instructions on top of that page. Use a download manager if needed, safer in case of interrupted download.
