2.3 upgrade error (openofficeorg21)

Hello,

I tried to upgrade my OOo from 2.1 to 2.3 but it was unable to find a file called openoffice.org21 and was not able to continue. This file was not on my hard drive so I re-downloaded 2.1 and extracted it. The correct file is now there but I still get an error saying file is not compatible. I am unable to uninstall 2.1 too as it complains about that same file. Currently I am stuck with 2.1 with nowhere else to go.

I have XP SP2.
