Network printers not listed

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.4.0
What Operating System (version) are you using? Mac OS X, Leopard, Intel iMac
What is your question or comment? I have three printers installed on my Mac that are available to all applications except Open Office. The only printer that shows up in Open Office is Adobe Acrobat 8 PDF printer. I am not able to see or select either of the two network printers, HP 1320, and HP 3600. The printers are all functional in all other applications, they do not show up on my printer list in Open Office, only. I have searched for adding printers to the Open Office printer list, but I have been unable to find a thread.
