[Solved] Java updated when OOo2.4 installed

Hi
I've been trying to install OOo 2.4 but without updating Java to version 6.4 as I run application that do not work with that version, they require version 6.3 or earlier. I haven't found a way to stop the update happening automatically. (My current version is set to not update automatically.)
How can I prevent the OOo installer from changing my Java version?

OOo doesn' detect a new Java version, it detects the new 2.4.1 OOo version I guess.

It automatically changed my Java version during the install of OOo 2.4 with no option/warning. Discovered that when trying to run other app that does not work with Java 6.4. Other app worked perfect before install of OOo 2.4, now doesn't and no other changes made between. So the install of OOo 2.4 has changed my Java from 6.3 to 6.4, confirmed by checking the Control Panel Java applet.
There needs to be an option to allow users to NOT change the Java version.

Then download the installer without Java: [Solved] Non-Java Install package.

This auto update feature is not so good IMHO. Never tried it but I guess it automatically downloads the installer with Java without asking, right?
