Copy a spread sheet in WPS and paste to an OO spreadsheet - formulas in the cell don't carry, only the value of the cell.

Use a conversion site such as www.zamzar.com to convert the WPS to .ods

Or use Libreoffice http://www.libreoffice.org/download to open the file and save as .ods

Rory, thanks for the info. I did convert a file and everything looks fine.

Except after saving the file, I can't find it in my libraries. There is a question in Zamar's FAQ on the same problem:

•I can't find my downloaded file - Where did it download to ?
You specify where you want to download your file to on your computer, we have no default directory to download converted files to. If you cannot find it, you can download your file from the link in the email we sent you as many times as you like within the 24 hour period from when you received your email.

After 3 tries, I copied their conversion to a blank ODS, renamed it and we seem to have it.

Strange, I'd love to know where their conversions are.

Thanks

It may get saved to the Downloads folder in your Windows user folder - so in C:\Users\User name\Downloads
