OpenOffice.org 3 beta and LanguageTool

I'm testing beta version of OpenOffice 3 (3.0.0 beta). I wanted to install LanguageTool (a grammar check add-on, a VERY good tool). After installing, on a first use, I got an error message:

java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed do load rules: Loading rules failed: Duplicate class definition: de.danielnaber.languagetool.rules.CommaWhitespaceRule, found in
C:\ (here is a long path to extension)\languageTool.jar
... (here is a stacktrace, usable to developers)

Language of the text is set to Polish.
Can anybody help me to install LanguageTool into 3.0.0 beta properly?
OS is Windows XP Professional Polish, Service Pack 2, all updates except SP3 (breaks my system, because of video card drivers).

Yours,
Xpascal

Hi,
It would probably be best to post this problem for the developers of the LanguageTool extension to see.

For example, there is a page with user comments and some troubleshooting ideas at the OOo extensions website:
http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... nguagetool

LanguageTool also has a website, with a link to a README file describing known problems:
http://www.languagetool.org/download/README.txt

And then there is a mailing list, as well, which can also be accessed from the LanguageTool sourceforge project pages:
http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=110216
Or you can try filing a bug at sourceforge:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=110216

Hopefully one of those resources with enable you to troubleshoot or to report the issue to the people who can help.

This problem has been fixed in the development build for LanguageTool. Unfortunately for you, this is not generally available to the public... They were able to make use of the new Grammar API introduced with OOo 3.0, even if the API is not fully implemented. This will be very nice when it is ready to go...
