Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? 2.0
What Operating System (version) are you using? XP
What is your question or comment? Just recently I have been unable to save to Word or Excel, or for that matter, I guess any other format, like PDF. Has anything changed on OO? Or, more likely, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
Kathy Hansen

Re: TROUBLE SAVING TO OTHER FORMATS
Can you upgrade to 2.4? The 2.0 version is really deprecated now.

I will try to upgrade, thanks. didn't see 2.4 as an option, but will be more thorough in my search.

Re: Trouble saving to other formats
That looks more like a problem with the user profile rather than with the software. Try renaming your profile folder (after exiting all OO processes including the quick starter). The path on XP is c:\documents and settings\username\Application Data\ OpenOffice.org2patkathy wrote: Just recently I have been unable to save to Word or Excel, or for that matter, I guess any other format, like PDF.[emphasis added]
