[Solved] Cannot remove "Manual Column Break"

Google'd it and did a search of forums, but could not find an answer to the question of how to remove the notice of "Manual Column Break" at the top of each manual column break.
Tried turning everything off, then on and off again, in "View" and in "Tools -> Options," but no luck.
Anyone know how to do this?
Kind of annoying.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what you're looking for.

Are you looking to remove the column break, or the line that indicates the presence of the column break?

If the former, Format > Paragraph > Text Flow ...

The latter, I believe, can be turned off with View > Text Boundaries: OFF

Apologies for not making this clearer. I am looking to remove the notice of "Manual Column Break" -- a written notice, or line, which indicates the presence of a manual column break in a multiple-column.
Here is a screenshot.

As I had written, I had turned off all (and I mean - all) of the potential view options, which may affect this notice/line, in both the "View" and in "Tools -> Options" menus (for the latter, including under "LibreOffice" and, in addition, under "LibreOffice Writer"). But it is still there. It disappears on a print preview. But always there, and kind of annoying for a page with multiple column sections and multiple line breaks.

Thanks for your advice.

Have you switched off the non printing characters (pilcrow in the toolbar)?

Please add '[Solved]' at the beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

This have no effect on column break.
As far as I known you can't remove column break notice.

The only way I found to not see this text is to change "Page and Column break" color from "automatic" to "white" in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Appearance.
But Page breaks will also becomes white...

Sorry, I failed to notice that you were using LibreOffice.

If you don't like the notice, you can switch to AOO ;-)

Okay, thanks for the input, gerard24 in particular, that confirms that I cannot remove the notices.
i'm sure it will get fixed at some point, and, until then, I'm willing to be patient for the sake of independence and true open source (wink). :)
