Printing on a different computer that doesn't have OOo

Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.

Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using? not sure
What Operating System (version) are you using? not sure
What is your question or comment? we don't have a printer attached to this computer that has OpenOffice. we saved a document to a flash drive,but when we put the flash drive into a computer with a printer it just prints out in ccode (boxes). How do we print something out?

On OOo, File -> Export to pdf. Copy de .pdf (not the .odt) to the flash drive. You only need Acroread or Foxit Reader (or whatever you use on Windows) to print the pdf.

You might check out the printer option "Print to File".
