Yes, I thought I had been rid of the German Edition for I had downloaded the American English version. I live in Germany, but would like the default OO to be American English, and to use German, French and Italian dictionaries.
Suddenly, today, I call up OO and the whole thing is in German again! HELP! PLEASE!
The German version seems 2b default - I want only English

If you installed en-us version and ge, it langpack, then Tools>Options>Language settings> Languge of User interface change from Default to English(USA), and restartr OOo, on win exit from Quickstarter, before restart.
