[Solved] Unable to uninstall OpenOffice 3.4

I updated from 3.3 to 3.4 about 2 weeks ago. Apart from having to figure out how to stop it from opening at start up (solved) I didn't have any problems until this past Wednesday. It stopped opening and when I went to the program features, I found a box that said the program wasn't compatible with my system. Hard to understand since it WAS working. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and, I was able to open my spreadsheets....for a while. I'd open one, work on it, save it and attempt to open the next one. No luck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3.4 five times now in less than a week. Today...same problem with yet another development. It started out the same with the first spreadsheet...1st one opens, 2nd one won't. I closed out OpenOffice, went to "Programs" in the control panel and tried uninstalling it. NOW it won't uninstall. On top of that, it won't repair or change plus it deleted the shortcut on my desktop. Every time I try to do anything with it, a box pops up with "Please exit OpenOffice.org 3.4 and the OpenOffice 3.4 QuickStarter before you continue". I don't have anything open so, I can't exit. I'd attach a screen shot of the box that comes up but, the file is apparently too big for your system to handle. What do I need to do to completely uninstall 3.4? How do I go back to 3.3? Tired of the problems with the one I have and never had problems with the one I had.
