Welcome beginner. Please answer all of the questions below which may provide information necessary to answer your question.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Which version of OpenOffice.org are you using?
I'm using two: OpenOffice Novell edtion 2.3.0 and Broffice 2.4.0

What Operating System (version) are you using?
Windows XP Professional

What is your question or comment?

Hi, first excuse me for my bad english...
I have the Novell Open Office 2.3.0 and the Novell extension
"OpenOffice.Org OpenXML Translator" (file: odfconverter-1.1-7.oxt), and
i can open and edit docx, xlsx, pptx files with this Novell version + extension...

The Novell extension don't works with the BROffice 2.4.0 and others
(I think it just works with the Novell Office...)
Well, if the Novell has a solution for the MSOffice2007 file format,
I supose that there is something like this to work wiht BROffice/OpenOffice 2.4.

But I can't find a extension that works with OpenOffice 2.4...
Could you help me?

Thanks!!

Does it help: About the ability to handle MS Office 2007 files?

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

Hagar's link has a lot of options, and I would like to add one more: odf-converter-integrator opens Office 2007 files in OpenOffice.org. Actually OCI is mostly the same code as used in the Novell extension, but OCI works with any OpenOffice.org.
