Problems opening doc. files in LibreOffice
Hi everybody, I've recently started to use Ubuntu and LibreOffice (1 month) and I'll never use anything else. Unfortunatelly, I'm experiencing some problems while working with word documents. Basically, some of the figures, tables, etc. just disappear. Does anybody know's how to solve this really annoying (and problematic) issue?
Thks!

Re: Problems opening doc. files in libreoffice
Hi and welcome to the forum!
There are plenty of topics about compatibility between MS Office and OOo/LibO. If you have to use .doc format, then better use MS Office. That's the vendor lock-in policy set to keep the market shares...
That's why the key point now is to use a real standard like ODF.
But such disappearances are rather weird. Can you upload a sample file (see How to attach a document here)?

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE 7 Gigi) and 25.2 portable on Windows 11.
