Accessing and Using Web Folders

Open Office writer does not like web folders. You can load and save a document direct to the web using Microsoft Word, however OO saves back to the temporary files area. Manually going to the web folder, does not list any folders in that directory and, thus, will not save. I'm using V2.4.
Any ideas?

Are you talking about publishing items to a Web server? Where is the "web folder" you're accessing and do you know how you're accessing it? Exactly what are you doing in Word to accomplish that? Typically that's done through FTP, and typically the FTP service needs to be set up to allow it, so you'd have to work it out with whoever supports the Web server you're trying to access. This sounds to me more like an issue of permissions than of software.
