we are currently using Windows Xp , Open Office 2.4.0_en-US Java version jdk-1_5_0_15-windows-i586-p

I am trying to pass string to open office xTVC.setString("मकरंद माने ");

But open office is not able to display this string

I have all ready installed Hindi fonts "shusha , gargi "

What should i do ?

Shusha, I understand, is not a Unicode font and so may be the source of your problem. Gargi does seem to be Unicode so there should not be any problem with it.
