[Solved] Unwanted supercase

Post by thimk »

Spreadsheet has suddenly started a VERY unwanted change of 1st, 2nd, etc., to small superscript for the last 2 chars. Old cells not affected.
I can't find any way to turn off this arrogant change. I prefer formatting that I can actually read without zooming.

Tools>AutoCorrect, Options tab and uncheck Replace 1st with 1^st.

Thanks to add '[Solved]' at beginning of your first post title (edit button) if your issue has been fixed.

That worked, thanks.
But how did "autocorrect" get turned on? I NEVER enable such disgusting nonsense.

I've already seen (but not so often) such strange option that get activated (or unactivated). Don't know what could be the root cause. Upgrade? Corrupted configuration file? ...
