Hi everyone,
i ran into a problem while analyzing some data.
How can i visualize the following Data elements?
A B C D C
1 6,5% 2,6% 1,3% 1,3% 1,3%
2 5,2% 6,5% 2,6% 1,3% 1,3%
3 3,9% 5,2% 6,5% 2,6% 1,3%
4 1,3% 3,9% 5,2% 6,5% 2,6%
5 1,3% 1,3% 3,9% 5,2% 6,5%
6 1,3% 1,3% 1,3% 3,9% 5,2%
I cant seem to get it working to make ONE CHART with all the data....pls help me. It is for my master thesis.
Cheers

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
I don't understand what your data means, but if you want to make a bubble chart and put a bubble of size 4 at (3,1), a bubble of size 9 at (1,5), and a bubble of size 5 at (2,6) arrange your data like this, and use Insert, Chart, Bubble.
My guess is that you're providing 30 data points. If so, arrange it as a 30-row table, not as a rectangular array.
If this answered your question please go to your first post use the Edit button and add [Solved] to the start of the title. You can select the green checkmark icon at the same time.

Sry,
my chart compares X Values 1-6 which are in relation to Y-Values A-E(not C at the end) and in the 3rd dimension the percentage of the event :
for example (A,1) has the percentage of 6,5 % .
Is it correct that you tell me to make a List where The X-Values, Y-Values and the Sizes are aligned as you say (picture above).
So i get with 10 X Values and 10 Y Values a list with all the permutations of them. Here 10x10 = 100 List elements starting with X=1 y=1 , x=1 y=2 , x=1 y=3....till x=10 y=10 so 100 combinations....and then i align the sizes to the x,y values.
Is that correct?
PLS say it is....the raw data i processed was in this format with all the possible permutations like you posted.

Your post is confusing to me because first you talked about six numeric X values, then later about ten X values (apparently 1 through 10). And you mention five alphabetic(???) Y values, with data point (A,1), but later ten Y values, also apparently 1 through 10.

If you have X values 1 through 10 and Y values 1 through 10 and so 10×10=100 (X,Y) combinations, use 100 rows. And use three columns: X value, Y value (must be numeric), and relative bubble size. The first two columns should contain the desired positions of the bubbles on the X and Y axes. If you use the (X,Y) values you mentioned, the centers of the bubbles will be evenly spaced on a rectangular grid.

Question 1. Do the numbers in the first column (1:6) have any meaning or is this a function of your data print-out? As it appears you are trying to group bubbles by categories 1:6. Is this what you mean?
