[Solved] MS SQL connection
Hi there i am trying add a link to a MS SQL database table to a OOo base? We have made some in house search tools that look right at the MS SQL table, but that was with Access 2007 and a ODBC connection. I was wondering how to do it with OOo or if can even be done. I don't know how friendly MS SQL is with OOo.

File>New>Database...
[X] COnnect to existing db
Type: ODBC
Use the same ODBC name as in the other programs, register the database, save the database, add some queries if you like.
In Writer of Calc hit F4 and drag stuff from a table or query into the document.
