Hi folks, I am a beginner and would like to know, how new, additional fonts can be downloaded to the openoffice word program. Thanks a lot! Edgar from Switzerland.

Install your fonts in Windows, using Windows / Control Panel / Fonts / Add Font. Then restart OpenOffice (including the Quickstarter). The easiest way is to turn your copmputer off (shut it down properly!), and then on again.
