When editing a math formula, the font size in the edit box is much smaller than any place else in Open Office. I have tried changing the font size using Tools → Options → View → Scaling. It helped a bit, but it enlarged all menu options and only enlarged the math editor a small amount.
Is there a way to enlarge the font in the math editing box?

Re: Math edit box fonts too small
Hi and welcome to the forum!
Works fine for me with 3.2.1 on xubuntu 10.10 but I use the vanilla version (see [Ubuntu] Installing OOo on Debian and Co.).
Can you upload a screenshot (see How to attach a document here)?
As a first step, you can try to reset your OOo user profile but don't transfer your personal data during the welcome process (if you had 2.x before), configuration files from the former version might corrupt the new profile.

LibreOffice 25.2 on Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE Faye) and 24.8 portable on Windows 11.

Re: Math edit box fonts too small
I used Options/Preferences, OpenOffice.Org, View, Scaling = 130% then Options/Preferences, OpenOffice.Org, View, Scaling = 100%. This made the text in the formula editing box somewhat larger (presumably by 30%). I don't understand why it works that way — perhaps it shouldn't. Others have asked about this: Text in formula editing pane too small and Ability to configure Fontparameters in Formular Input Window so you can vote for either of those issues.
For someone willing to edit the source code for OOo and compile a customized verson for themselves, closed issue Fixed fonts in the command window, width of the editing area discusses where the editing window font was specified.
A more drastic approach is to decrease your screen resolution at the operating system level when working with the formula editor, but that will make everything on the screen bigger.
