From what I can tell, OpenOffice is supposed to open MS Access files - "You can connect to an Access file in OpenOffice.org. Choose File > New > Database, choose to connect to an existing database, choose Access as the format, and click Next."
However, in the Mac OS X version of OpenOffice, Access is not listed as one of the supported database types. Does this mean I need an ODBC or JDBC driver?
Thanks
George
MS Access from Mac OS X?

Re: MS Access from Mac OS X?
Ask Microsoft to provide drivers for Mac, then you can work with access files on Mac.
Until that convert access to real database, for example postgesql or mysql, and use OOo Base as front-end.
Second option export data from access as csv, and import it into any database.
