Hi, I'm new to OpenOffice and would like to know if I can use my Corel Draw (.cdr ) clipart collection in the applications. It wont let me insert them as it doesn`t seem to recognise them. i can't even copy & paste them. Advice please. Alan

No problem here pasting cpt or cdr images from CorelDraw 9 into OpenOffice 2.4, but GDI Metafiles are a right mess.
Try Paste Special and see if you can paste as a bitmap rather than as a CoelDraw graphic or Metafile.

Thanks for suggestion but it's not even giving me an option to "paste special"
I've no problem with pasting cpt . I use coreldraw 13 & have a huge clipart & graphic collection in cdr format which I would really like to use in OpenOffice. Surely there must be a way.
