Hi.
If you are familiar with MS Excel, you can select from top to bottom by the following procedure.
1. Select cells at the begining, say, at the top row.
2. While pressing Shift button, press End once then Down Arrow.
Then as far as the cells are continuously filled, you can select down to the bottom.
This procedure does not work with OO calc.
Is there equivalent method to select reginal cells?
Thank you for your attention.
Press Shift End Arrow to select won't wrok. How?
Re: Press Shift End Arrow to select won't wrok. How?
I think what you want is Ctrl+Shift+Arrow -- that will extend the selection, in whichever direction <Arrow> point, as far as there are filled cells.

Also handy is Ctrl+* to select the data range around the current cell. It only works using the asterisk on the number pad though, so not much use for laptop users.

Thank you, acknak, huw.
I will try that tomorrow when I got office.
BTW, this forum is busy, I was surprised to see my post going down this much at this speed.
OOP looks promising.
That someone else's office just don't work with my PC. And I like linux too.
