Unable to change paper size to 11x17 in Calc

Post by skeroff »

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04, and along with it, upgraded to Openoffice 3.2. I have a spreadsheet that, when printed, requires larger paper in our Ricoh printer/copier at work. 3.1 would allow me to change the paper size when printing to 11x17, but after the upgrade, the spreadsheet only prints on 8 1/2 x 11, regardless of how many times I change the paper size settings. The page option stays 11x17 (tabloid), but the printer setting ALWAYS reverts back.

For the record, I have been able to export the spreadsheet to a PDF and print it at the right size in Adobe Acrobat Reader 9, but this is a little cumbersome.

Any thoughts?

What version of OOo are you using, the 'official' Sun/Oracle one or the Ubuntu version? We often get hints that the Ubuntu version is a bit flakey.
LibreOffice 7.3.7. 2; Ubuntu 22.04
