Hi everyone,

I am developing a Dictionary Extension for Gikuyu language using Hunspell. I have successfully packaged the dictionary as an extesnion (.oxt) and even submitted it to the Dictionary Extensions page.
My problem is, after users download and successfully install the dictionary, my language is not on the Languages list. What am I doing wrong?

http://extensions.services.openoffice.o ... ect/Gikuyu

P.S. No errors in installing extension

The problem is that the developers managed not to include Kikuyu/Gikuyu in the list of languages in the dialog boxes. Your extension won't change that, you will have to file an issue about it.

Thanks floris,
I will get on to submitting the issue.
Does this mean we have wait till the next major release?

As it may be a slight change in the code, perhaps it can be included in the intermediate release (3.2.1).

Thanks again Floris and Hagar
One more question, which is the best category to post this issue on the IssueTracker?
Do I post it under UI design, Word processing, or L10N / I18N. I am kinda confused on this one

I would say l10n. But don't bother, if this is not the correct one, the devs will change it.
