Open Office 2.3.1
OP: Windows Vista
I was just updating my CV and saved it (in .doc format), then I made a PDF versian from it which I also saved. The OOo document was exactly the same after saving. I closed both documents, and I thought all was well, until next time I opened the CV in Writer. The second half of my CV had disappeared, and much of the formatting was changed in what was left. The PDF versian is fine - it's all there. How can I recover it.. and where did it go?! Please see attached. Thanks

Re: Lost Data
It comes from the fact that you've certainly centered the page vertically in MS Word. Pages are then imported in sections bigger than the real pages.
To fix it, open the Navigator (F5), right click on a section in the Section tree, Edit, remove both the sections. Close the dialog, et voilà.
If you can send PDF, then, use only the native .odt format.
