I am using OO 2.3.1 with Windows. The problem is that imported eps images are only printed in preview mode. I know there are already some topics regarding this, but those are not really helpful to me. We need to print a mass mailing with inserted eps images. So a workaround with Bullzip/PDF etc. is not possible.
Any ideas?
Problem printing eps images
Re: Problem printing eps images
To print eps files in full quality, you need to print to a postscript printer. Alternatively, you might print through ghostscript to a raster printer. On Linux systems, quality is perfect right out of the box because all Linux printing is in postscript, where the output is rasterised in the background using ghostscript for non-postscript devices. Perhaps, it is the same on Apple, while on Windows, the process can be automated using redmon/ghostscript.
Re: Problem printing eps images
Thank you very much for this quick reply!
We finally found out that this problem has another reason: the documents were originally created in MS Word and the eps images were also inserted there.
Opening these files in OO results in the problem described. Reimporting the images in OO solves the problem.
