Manipulate Font Size

Post by nospam »

Hi,

Noob to Writer, I would like to know if there is a feature to reduce all the fonts by a certain size. I would like select all paragraphs in the document, which has multiple formatting and styles and reduce them be 2. i.e. 10pt -> 8pt, 12pt->10 yadda....Oh yeah, I want to do this in one step....

Thanks

Note that this will be applied as direct formatting (which is not a good thing as you'll find out, the deeper you go into OOo) unless you first select the AutoUpdate checkbox in the Organizer tab of each paragraph style definition used in your document. That checkbox updates the style with whatever direct formatting you apply.

You'll need to be aware of this and of how styles work in general. I suggest having a look at the Writer Guide, if you haven't already. Please see the links in my signature below.
Cheers!
